"Weekend In My Watershed" At Crystal River/Kings Bay Jun. 12-13

This event, aimed at teachers & volunteers & facilitated by the Fla. Lake Mgmt. Soc., will be Jun. 12-13 at Plantation Inn. Workshops & field trips will give attendees practice in monitoring techniques & knowledge about important water resources in the Crystal River/Kings Bay watershed. Field trips include a "Critter Walk" Sat. evening & a guided kayak tour Sat. night. Sun. an early morning bird walk precedes afternoon water & habitat quality sampling techniques in Kings Bay. Your $75 reg. fee includes learning materials, supplies, dinner, breakfast, lunch, kayaks (or boat rides for non-kayakers). A limited number of $25 scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis, determined by the postmark of your reg. form's envelope; you must pay the full $75 up front.
